Would you like to share your passion for youth with others? Would you like to use your knowledge and skills to make a huge impact on local children as you act as a role model to help them achieve personal growth?
As the Child Watch Attendant, you will ensure a safe, caring, and fun learning environment for children ages 6 weeks to 7 years while parents are utilizing the YMCA facilities. You will provide a quality experience focused on YMCA core values of Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Caring.
Are you a good fit?
- You are committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
- You have six months or more of related experience preferred.
- You have a positive attitude and previous experience with youth and diverse populations.
- You have knowledge and skills in program activities and related office equipment, and the ability to instruct participants in techniques.
- You have current CPR, First Aid, AED certifications (preferred).
Starting Rate: $14.49+ per hour, depending on qualifications
Hours: Part time – Up to 25 hours per week
