We are looking for a talented Chief Digital Platform Architect to join our team specializing in Digital Technology. This role is remote.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Own Cummins’ digital software platform architecture development.
• Define current and future architecture and implement common platforms across teams
• Oversee effective change management methods to ensure architecture is sustainable and practical.
• Work with various digital engineering support teams to ensure architecture is robust and aligned with Cummins’ digital strategy for the future.
• Design, develop, and implement, software system architecture for Cummins’ cloud and assist the embedded software teams to enhance Cummins’ digital platforms and products.
• Work directly with digital organization teams and provide technical guidance.
• Provide technical leadership and support and develop innovative solutions with sustainable architecture.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent degree in computer sciences or related field or equivalent work experience. Higher degree (Masters or PhD) is a plus.
• Experience in enterprise software development products.
• Leader in cloud strategy and architecture.
• Prior experience with architecture system integration to support enterprise cloud management.
• Expert knowledge of software architecture and software systems engineering.
• Automotive industry experience a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.

“Annual Compensation Range: $142,000 – $183,000.
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
