Job Description:
The Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL) Coordinator will be directly accountable to the CITL Director and will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily operations and events, as well as maintaining departmental records.
The individual filling this position is expected to play a positive role in helping Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC) change as necessary to effectively carry out its mission.
- Works closely with the Director in coordinating the current daily operations of CITL.
- Coordinate with departments to provide resources and target professional development.
- Assist with documentation, projects, and reports for the CITL.
- Ensures schedule of CITL events is up-to-date and times and locations scheduled through proper channels.
- Collects data to measure the success of CITL professional development with departmental and institutional strategic plan and goals.
- Serve as the faculty and student’s initial point of contact to request assistance related to teaching and learning.
- Assist with creating and organizing professional development materials to support faculty, student, and staff training.
- Serve as a general resource for faculty and students with a broad knowledge of the LMS and its features and functionalities.
- Assist in preparing requisitions in Banner and entering expenses in Chrome River.
- Answer phone calls and greet walk-ins seeking support.
- As a part of the college’s risk management tool annual mandatory compliance training is required.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 2-4 years relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to represent the College positively and professionally on campus and in the community.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Canvas.
- Previous work experience in an educational setting.
