WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER
The Campaign Strategist & Planner is a campaign strategist and planner who will lead priority campaigns and initiatives for the Marketing and Communications (MAC) Team from project brief to performance report, and who will serve as an expert for helping teams plan, test, and optimize paid campaigns to meet the objectives of the project. This role requires strategy, innovation, and implementation skillsets.
The Campaign Strategist & Planner is responsible for the successful delivery of complex global brand campaigns and initiatives that will drive forward the MAC Team’s strategic priorities. You are responsible for working with audience leads and other stakeholders to develop clear goals, including defining the campaign’s objectives and key performance indicators; crafting insight-driven project briefs, ensuring projects stay on strategy through the development and production phase, and implementing your measurement and reporting plan with the respective data and analysis leads. You will work in close collaboration with the Director of Brand Strategy, regional marketing leads, and project managers throughout the MAC Team to identify opportunities and efficiencies.
This position is responsible for leading a project team to plan, implement and optimize data-driven campaigns. In addition, the Campaign Strategist & Planner will work closely with division leaders, regional marketing colleagues, and external agencies to ensure the campaign plan is properly executed across the channels to deliver on our division’s goals. They will be part of a team to help develop and define the structure, processes and tools needed to deliver best-in-class marketing.
As the Campaign Strategist & Planner, you will:
- Connect with broader cross-functional teams to help define audience insights, campaign objectives, communication launch dates and tasks, and journey mapping/ecosystem definition that will offer the most effective outcomes.
- Oversee how we leverage insights to drive decisions, crafting focused and compelling strategies and creative briefs that will engage and empower integrated marketing teams.
- Execute large scale paid media investments across TV, OOH, Digital, Audio, Event and Video Streaming in conjunction with media planning agencies and internal channel managers.
- Develop campaign plans, act as a thought partner in implementation, and help craft progress updates and final measurement report, including performance and process learnings to inform future decisions and investments.
- Help shape and drive learning agendas in conjunction with research and insights.
- Serve as an advertising thought partner to regional communications leaders across the TNC network.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOU
- Experience in planning paid media campaigns in coordination with earned and owned media strategists.
- Experience with writing creative briefs and defining campaign user journeys.
- Experience managing advertising vendors and agency relationships.
- Critical thinker with demonstrated problem-solving skills; solutions-oriented.
- Experience leading teams; both directly and indirectly and with internal and external partners.
- Leadership experience, directly and/or indirectly; includes ability to lead, motivate, set objectives, and manage performance and conflict resolution.
- Ability and comfort working in partnership with all levels of staff in a collaborative or advisory role.
- Strong interpersonal skills and upward management skills, including the ability to negotiate, influence, and persuade.
- Demonstrated ability in managing the fiduciary aspects of planning and delivery of budgets.
- Experience developing visual-forward, well-designed briefings, reports, or other materials.
- Strong and persuasive verbal and written communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate ideas in a compelling manner for various audiences and stakeholders.
- Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience or exposure a plus.
- Multi-lingual skills appreciated but not required.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 9 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience managing staff and teams.
- Experience developing marketing plans and measuring results.
- Experience cultivating and managing client relationships.
- Experience leading complex project and program/account management including financial responsibilities and measuring results of strategic plans and programs.

SALARY INFORMATION
The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $93,000 – $133,000 for annual base salary. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate’s location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
