Full-Time Business Systems Analyst IV
Job Description
Documents technical and business requirements and translates them into solutions for Black Knight’s Servicing Technologies division. Serves as a liaison between the product owners and the information technology organization from project inception through implementation to provide customer-centric solutions that solve business needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Captures business needs and translates them into technical requirements including application integration points, technical design, and application flow storyboards that are then consumed by development and support teams
- Conducts data mapping, data transfers, data analysis, and root cause analysis
- Works on explorative activities for migration, redesign, refactoring and reengineering of existing Black Knight product(s)
- Participates as a direct internal resource for questions pertaining to new application functionality before and during UAT and provides support as needed
- Assists with the creation of release notes and implementation documentation
- Creates project artifacts as needed and conducts a variety of test cases to confirm the solution will meet the expectations of clients and stakeholders
- Performs other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
- Requires 10+ years of technical business analysis experience
- Ability to write and design functional and technical business requirements
- Ability to present technical and non-technical information to any audience
- Strong foundational knowledge of MSP (preferably the structure and architecture)
- Data management expertise (ETL, transferring, mapping, analysis)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Black Knight products, services, and capabilities
- SQL, ETL, and data mgmt. tool experience
- Ability to abstract out requirements in a system agonistic fashion
- Knowledge and experience with API integrations
- Knowledge of cloud native containerized applications
- Automation testing experience
- Exposure to Java programming and design
- Experience breaking down monoliths into microservices
- Experience working in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams
- Mortgage industry experience
- Ability to organize requirements by features and user stories creating a backlog to be used throughout the project lifecycle
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and work in a high-volume environment
