We are looking for our next talented superstar to join our team. The Business Development Representative (BDR) role will be based in New York (open to considering candidates in other US locations), acting as an integral member of our Sales team, who are responsible for driving leads and building awareness about TRIBE’s platform, across the US market.
This is a critical role for the US market and it’s the perfect stepping stone for someone with the tenacity and drive for a career in Sales, who’s keen to learn the ropes and understand the strategies and techniques to enable them to perform at a high level. This role is designed to give you the foundations to evolve into a power-house Salesperson/Client Partner over time.
Our TRIBE office is based in New York, however we are open to considering applicants throughout the US (ET or MT time zone), as we are a predominantly remote team. You will be required to travel at times to New York, but we can sort out those details later…
Here’s what a day in the life of the BDR might look like:
- Learn & execute proven processes to generate new sales opportunities
- Ability to write succinct and inspiring/ informative emails to attract new business
- Lead qualifying calls efficiently and with a good telephone manner
- Building Client Partners pipelines
- Being across industry news and social media releases and to use insights to lead outreach strategies
- Using your creative flare for outside of the box initiatives
- Working with Clients Partners on outreach strategies
- Partaking in US & Global team meetings
There’s a couple of things we need you to confirm that you’ve got in your toolkit before hitting send on your application:
- Minimum 2 years Sales experience within a tech software or media sales environment is beneficial but not essential
- A strong knowledge of social media, influencer marketing and digital marketing
- Experience in building relationships with Brand & Agencies
- Experience in identifying qualified leads
- Confident on the phone and presenting
- Thrives in an energetic Sales environment and is motivated to exceed revenue targets
- Creative flare and thinks outside the box
- Knowledge of CRM/ Hubspot specifically is advantageous
- Good all-rounder, happy to get involved in all tasks, help out with the team and go the extra mile
- Must be willing to work remotely
