JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION

Responsible for development and implementation of plans and strategies to ensure the growth, viability, and financial success of the assigned business unit or business sector.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs research and analysis to support business operations and presents findings to manager or, depending on level, the project leader.
  • Plans and designs business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business systems and activities and/or to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Provides ongoing support and assists users with business requests.
  • Configures and maintains SharePoint settings and site functionalities.
  • Provides end user support and manages security rights and user roles.
  • Builds executive level presentations.
  • Performs sales support functions in excel such as client analysis, goal tracking and pipeline research
  • Calculates/estimates costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability/ROI.
  • Develops recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations.
  • May perform special projects upon request and on occasion.
  • May prepare reports for financial and P&L analyses.
  • Creates competitive intelligence analyses with ongoing monitoring of the capabilities, development pipelines, and products of companies targeted for ongoing or potential future partnerships/acquisition or of competitors.
  • Develops business cases and/or business plans in the evaluation of potential new market or partnership opportunities to ensure sound business judgment for the deployment of corporate capital.
  • Organizes and presents evaluation findings to all levels of management verbally or in writing.
  • Works closely with product development, marketing, sales, and finance to coordinate activities that ensure success in the marketplace.
  • May mentor or supervise others in the department.
  • Manages budgeting and financial forecasting, and achieves forecasted financial results for assigned cost centers.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic CRM systems experience or similar systems
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience
  • Experience with building Tableau Dashboards highly preferred (other BI tool experience OK)

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of Black Knight products and services preferred
  • Knowledge of general business operations and structure analysis principles
  • Excellence in standard office software, such as MS Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.), Visio, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to audiences of various levels in the organization and at client organizations (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)
  • Willingly shares relevant knowledge and expertise to other resources
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team, customer service, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
  • Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed
  • Ability to work independently while delivering high-quality work and meeting planned deadlines
  • Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information, sharing ideas, and suggesting new solutions both internally and to clients (as applicable)

Business Development Analyst III

Advanced professional role. Highly skilled with extensive proficiency. Develops large and/or complex solutions that require analysis and research. Works on multiple projects as a project leader or frequently as the subject matter expert that require increased skill in business development analysis, process modeling, project management, and financial analysis with demonstrated knowledge across multiple analytical areas and business segments. Coaches and directs the work of more junior analysts. Works under minimal supervision on complex projects. Wide latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires five (5) or more years of experience in an analytical and/or problem-solving role.
