Full-Time Brand Communications Assistant
Job Description
You Will:
- Facilitate day-to-day inbound media requests in a timely manner, including sample requests, image requests, and fact checks.
- Help to secure impactful media placements in print, online, broadcast and social media outlets.
- Draft media pitches and create product line sheets to support campaign outreach.
- Track earned and paid media coverage. Input all data metrics to measure results against outlined KPIs and further optimize strategy and media mix.
- Generate campaign and quarterly reports that outline results and how they ladder up to broader awareness and company goals.
- Perform market & cultural research to stay abreast of industry trends, best practices and competitive landscape.
- Participate in team brainstorms to help generate campaign strategies.
- Maintain a media database with current contact information for all press; create targeted lists for campaigns; research new media and agency contacts.
- Manage workflow and deliverables for all creative assets required for team channels. Write comprehensive creative briefs highlighting execution details.
- Assist with event planning and execution, including managing external vendors, contract and pricing negotiation, ordering product samples, shipping and receiving, guest list management, and staffing.
- Precisely track and maintain team budget.
- Personalize, order and track product samples for media,VIPs, events, and partners.
- Execute creative deliveries for press and VIPs.
- Provide administrative support across the team.

You Have:
- 1-2 years as an account coordinator or equivalent experience in marketing or communications in a consumer, retail, e-commerce or agency environment.
- Extremely efficient and organized self-starter with strong time management skills
- An extremely high taste level and high standards for quality and style; a passion for art, design, and creative pursuits; and a finger on the pulse of emerging lifestyle and design trends.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or a related field.
