We are currently hiring for the position of:
ASSISTANT, VOLUNTEER REWARDS
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Audience & Community, the Assistant, Volunteer Rewards will be responsible for updating volunteer records in the TIFF Volunteer Hub and for issuing Volunteer Rewards Vouchers through the Festival’s online ticketing system for all volunteers at the 2022 Festival.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Update the TIFF Volunteer database with information on which volunteers have completed their shifts and should receive a Volunteer Reward Voucher.
- Issue Volunteer Reward Vouchers in TIFF’s Ticketing system within 24 hours of volunteers having completed their shifts.
- Support the Volunteer Office team in the planning and execution of other events and offers related Volunteer Rewards
- Ensure all volunteer records in the volunteer database are up-to-date and accurate
- Assist Volunteer Office team with administrative tasks as requested
- Create a comfortable, inclusive and welcoming atmosphere where all volunteers feel appreciated
- Complete a detailed post-mortem before the end of the contract
JOB GRADE & RATE OF PAY
- Job Grade 1
- $18.00 /Hourly
CONTRACT DATES OR START DATE:
- August 29, 2022 to September 19, 2022
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Highly proficient computer skills (knowledge of Keynote, Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Docs, InDesign, etc.)
- Proven experience working with Ticketing systems and experience with an online volunteer management tool is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills (email, in-person and telephone)
- An exceptional eye for detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, open-concept environment
- Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, evening and weekend work is required
- Must be available for all 11 days of the Festival (September 8–18, 2022)
