The Opportunity
The Department of Management in the College of Business at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for a 9 month, tenure earning assistant professor or a 9-month, tenured associate professor in Organizational Behavior (OB) or Human Resource Management (HR). The appointment is expected to begin in Fall 2025 and will be located on the UCF main campus.

Minimum Qualifications:
Assistant Professor Doctoral degree from an AACSB-accredited institution, either in management or a closely related field, by the start of the appointment.

Candidates must possess a portfolio of research targeted to top management journals in the
field, e.g., AMJ, AMR, JAP, PP, JOM, etc.

• Evidence of an active research program in the field.
Associate Professor
Doctoral degree from an AACSB-accredited institution, either in management or a closely related field.

Candidates must possess a portfolio of research targeted to top management journals in the field, e.g., AMJ, AMR, JAP, PP, JOM, etc.

To be eligible for appointment as a tenured associate professor (and/or professor) upon hire, the selected candidate must have a demonstrated record of teaching, research, and service commensurate with a tenured faculty appointment at the rank of associate professor.

Preferred Qualifications:
Assistant Professor
• Publishing in top OB and/or HR journals in the field, e.g., AMJ, AMR, JAP, PP, JOM, etc.
• Experience teaching OB or HR courses.
Associate Professor
Sustained record of publishing in top OB and/or HR journals in the field, e.g., AMJ, AMR,
JAP, PP, JOM, etc.

• Evidence of past teaching effectiveness in OB or HR courses.
• Evidence of mentoring Ph.D. students.
