JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION
Responsible for designing, developing and deploying data transformation solutions aimed at modernizing, consolidating and coordinating the independently designed applications within one or more business segments. Responsible for extending the data contract model for development team based on the integration.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Determines how existing applications, legacy systems, and/or Web interfaces, which may be currently operating on multiple platforms, work together to meet the new and emerging requirements of the business segment(s) and/or enterprise.
* Recommends methods to efficiently reuse existing components.
* Utilizes tools for data analysis and transformation modeling.
* Works with users to gather business requirements, codes and tests middleware routines to ensure successful and seamless communication among the various IT systems and application components.
* Participates in component and data architecture design.
* Works heavily with XML and/or JSON within data mapping tools.
* Communicates with clients/partners regarding integration and implementation guides.
* Performs other duties as required.

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
* Knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) methodologies and processes such as object-oriented programming, enterprise-wide content and data distribution using common databases and data standards implemented with XML or JSON, middleware applications and message queuing approaches
* Experience working with REST services and development technologies such as .NET or Java is highly desired
* Experience with XSLT is a plus
* Experience building and supporting data transformations
* Knowledge of Altova MapForce and/or Altova XMLSpy is a plus
* Experience in the Financial Services or Mortgage industry is a plus
* Understanding of MISMO standards is a plus
* Knowledge of Business Process Modeling is a plus
* Knowledge of the design and implementation of enterprise workflow systems and distributed architectures
* Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
* Ability to develop partnership-oriented relationships with functional leaders, especially as it relates to operations and technology
* Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with focus on timeliness, documentation, and communications with peers and business users alike
* Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels within Black Knight or outside the organization (executives, regulators, clients, etc.)
* Results oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units

JOB FAMILY LEVEL
Advanced professional level role. Works on projects that may span a broad range of systems and complex components that are used across multiple business segments or enterprise-wide. Requires in-depth knowledge across multiple technical environments and possesses increased level business knowledge. Works on one or more projects as a project team member or occasionally as a project lead. May coach and/or mentor more junior technical staff. Typically requires six (6) years of programming/systems analysis experience with emphasis in applications and systems architectural design and development, database and middleware technologies.
