Position Overview:
Goraya Professionals Ltd. is looking for a dedicated and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our team in Surrey, BC. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for managing office operations, scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and supporting our team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Coordination: Plan, organize, and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other company events.
Team Supervision: Supervise and guide other workers in day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient team collaboration.
Training and Development: Provide training and support to other team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Meeting Support: Record and prepare accurate minutes for meetings, seminars, and conferences, ensuring proper documentation of discussions and action items.
Office Procedures: Establish, review, and refine office procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Appointment Management: Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments and meetings for executives and team members.
Communication Management: Answer and relay telephone calls, messages, and inquiries professionally.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office Suite.
Specialization: Experience in managing reports, records, contracts, and invoices.
Personal Attributes:
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision.
Ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently and consistently.
Excellent oral communication skills for professional interaction with clients and colleagues.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proven reliability and strong time management skills.

This job is open to candidates who meet the following criteria:
