We are currently hiring for the position of:

Acting Director, Loyalty & Engagement

The Director of Loyalty & Engagement is responsible for the growth and engagement of TIFF’s supporter base members, and grass-roots donors. They will be responsible for sales target including forecasting (revenue generation), programme delivery, engagement experience design, and reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Revenue Generation: Sales and Retention
• Deliver 2020 Share Her Journey grassroots campaign (June – October 2020), reaching $100K in donations from renewing and new donors
• Mentor and Coach team through transition period, to maintain moral and motivation to meet identified goals
• Ensure revenue targets are attained or surpassed
• Train and coach team in annual campaigns for acquisition, conversion, upgrade, and renewal
• Oversight of departmental performance (development and KPIs)
• Identify and strategize on trends to identify potential revenue streams for Revenue Generating colleagues
• Build strategy for TIFF’s US Foundation, American Friends of TIFF to grow supporter base internationally

Membership Programme
• Oversee delivery of membership strategy (benefit, levels, pricing) and engagement experience design (loyalty, stewardship, service) with a particular focus on the 2020 festival
• Ensure high level supporter stewardship and customer experience during Festival
• Act as an internal advocate for loyalty and conversion of TIFF audiences
• Develop and maintain strong member and stakeholder relationships and ensure team is keeping stewardship top of mind
• Design relevant communication and collateral (online and printed) for market, and internal facilitation
• Ensure high level of engagement for prospective and current supporters
• Provide stewardship at general special engagement events and special initiatives as required
• Work in concert with Communications, Production teams, Visitor Experience on continuous improvement for audience engagement to drive conversion

Reporting
• Oversee reporting system and mechanisms to determine the success of each program (track sales progress and continued growth of membership programme)
• Ensure CRA compliance for CRM use of Raiser’s Edge including data-security, policy, and tax-receipting

START DATE:
• March 30, 2020 (12-month minimum contract)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Demonstrated track record of multi-tasking with a high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Strategic thinker with sound decision making and problem solving skills
• Relationship builder who is persuasive and influential
• Accountable ethical leader who takes ownership, demonstrating exceptional follow-through – able to respect and maintain high degree of confidentiality
• Act as a role model of TIFF Management team furthering a positive and healthy work-culture including with a team of in/direct reports
• Exceptional financial acumen with ability to perform budget and forecast analysis
• Skilled in proactive business transformation and change-management
• Experience with CRM, e-marketing, philanthropy, and membership programmes
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
• Familiarity with AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals) Donor Bill of Rights and AFP Code of Ethical Principals and Standards
• Fluency in a second language considered an asset
