Internship Accounting Intern – Fremont
Job Description
POSITION TYPE: Part-Time/Full-Time, Hourly
LOCATION: Fremont, CA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Purchasing team with purchase order creations, contacting vendors regarding purchasing questions and discrepancies
- Assist Receiving team by receiving and verifying order confirmations
- Tracking deliveries and following up on receipt documentation
- Maintain material order logs
- Maintain Vendor discrepancy and issue logs
- Assist with processing payables as necessary
- Various other administrative duties as assigned
- Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled and taking classes towards an Associate Degree with a concentration in Business, Accounting, or a recent graduate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge on the usage of PC, Printers, Digital Copier and Digital Scanner.
- Knowledge of a variety of software including but not limited to MS Office applications and SAP is a plus, but not required.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Valid CA driver’s license
