Job Description

POSITION TYPE:    Part-Time/Full-Time, Hourly

LOCATION:              Fremont, CA

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Purchasing team with purchase order creations, contacting vendors regarding purchasing questions and discrepancies
  • Assist Receiving team by receiving and verifying order confirmations
  • Tracking deliveries and following up on receipt documentation
  • Maintain material order logs
  • Maintain Vendor discrepancy and issue logs
  • Assist with processing payables as necessary
  • Various other administrative duties as assigned
  • Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled and taking classes towards an Associate Degree with a concentration in Business, Accounting, or a recent graduate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge on the usage of PC, Printers, Digital Copier and Digital Scanner.
  • Knowledge of a variety of software including but not limited to MS Office applications and SAP is a plus, but not required.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Valid CA driver’s license
