JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION The Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing an existing account base, through relationship building, contract renewal, platform cross-sell, and up-sell activities. You will be accountable for driving customer adoption and success by providing oversight, adoption recommendations, opportunities for greater service and risk management. Yo u will perform routine health checks and assist with business value assessments to ensure our customers, get the most return on their investment with us, and to assist the team in their mission to offer the best CRM and Marketing Automation solutions to the mortgage industry GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Proactively manage, renew, and grow a portfolio of assigned customers
- Create strategic account plans for further opportunities
- Serve as the primary point of contact post implementation
- Own the account-level relationship with client, building strong relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and stakeholders
- Navigate complex organizations and identify new key executives to build relationships with to further grow the account
- Close renewal business, meeting and exceeding quota
- Identify upsell opportunities to build pipeline and close sales
- Proactively identify and resolve account success blockers that may arise
- Orchestrate discussions with senior leaders around their business needs
- Partner with internal team members to align account activities with the customer’s business case and strategy
- Act as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas including product
- Ability to travel up to 50%
EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - Prior account management experience in SaaS organization preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to persuade
- Strong interpersonal skills, via phone, in person, virtual meetings and presentations
- Ability to work in fast paced, changing environment with minimal direction
- Mortgage Industry or CRM experience is a plus
- Consultative selling experience is highly desirable
- Requires expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- In-depth understanding of the sales process
- Analytical skills are required to determine client business needs and requirements
- Requires excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm under various levels of pressure
- Excellent follow-up skills in all areas of sales cycle
- Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, clients and public
Account Executive II Intermediate professional role. Fully qualified sales representative who has advanced beyond Entry-level. Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Has working knowledge of company products and services. Typically sells through a specific channel, having own territory, or working on a team and is responsible for small to medium-sized quota/territory. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new project or assignments. Typically requires five (5) or more years of field sales experience.
