Full-Time Account Director, Local Digital

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Account Director, Local Digital is an outside sales position responsible for selling digital products and integrated solutions. Primary focus will be on developing new business both through new customer acquisition and selling new applications/solutions into existing customer accounts. The AD will be responsible for managing all phases of the sales pipeline. Particular emphasis on identifying and prospecting to new customers and recognizing opportunities to drive profitable revenue in targeted vertical markets. A “Hunter Position” requiring a self-motivated and entrepreneurial individual. The AD will be responsible for attaining sales goals and communicating progress to goals and strategies/tactics to reach revenue targets VP, Digital Sales.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Executes sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
• Work collaboratively with other ADs to drive revenue growth in all vertical groups from new and existing customers.
• Use your knowledge of clients and agencies to develop high-level relationships.
• Present materials articulately, enthusiastically and persuasively in person, on the phone and in writing
• Work consultatively with major customers to optimize their advertising spends.
• Understand, adapt and contribute to the evolution of our advertising products and services.
• Establish and maintain advertising agency relations while being a positive and influential presence in your region.
• Manage and compile business and market intelligence to support market sales and share gain, competitive activities responses, Corporate Marketing activities, and Business Unit initiatives.
• Track pipeline through CRM to ensure there is enough activity to meet monthly/yearly sales goals for individuals and team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Analytical thinking and ability to make data driven decisions that benefit NCM and our partners.
• Cross-functional knowledge of sales and operations.
• Strategic vision for regional growth and creative thinker.
• BA/BS degree in related field. Exceptional academic experience required.
• Knowledge of regional client base and agencies and Internet advertising experience required.
• 50% travel as required. Must have valid driver’s license, acceptable motor vehicle record, proof of current insurance and reliable personal transportation.

Experience and Training: Any combination of the following experience and training (designated as required and/or preferred) that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
• 2 + years advertising and/or digital sales experience
• Education: College degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
• Licensure / Certification: Must have valid driver’s license, acceptable motor vehicle record, proof of current insurance and reliable personal transportation.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work Conditions:
This job operates in a office/home office environment, and requires a minimum of 40% travel to designated area/s. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.
Physical Conditions:
