Salary Range: $33.298 -$40.32 per hour
Essential Functions and Objectives:
– The IB Academic Program Coordinator provides leadership to the school in the disciplines of instructional planning and implementation for the International Baccalaureate Program. Cultivates, strong and sustainable relationships with educators in the district, at the school level and with the IB organization regionally and nationally. Provides direction and serves as the IB school’s primary liaison with educators at the district, school level, regional and national level.
Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:
– Type D License preferred (Principal License)
– Knowledge of accreditation standards and processes for the IB program
– Demonstrated ability in a leadership position
– Excellent knowledge of best practices in curriculum delivery and development
– Proven track record of working collaboratively with colleagues
– Experience with curriculum development and professional development preferred
– Demonstrated successful experiences as a teacher, staff developer or coach preferred.
– Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
– Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with students, faculty and staff.
– Highly organized with ability to organize own work and set priorities; work both independently and collaboratively.
– Knowledge of best instructional practices and procedures.
– Superior communication skills
– Excellent presentation skills.
– Good analytic skills with experience in data collection and organization for evaluation purposes.
– Experience living abroad preferred.
– Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Education Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree required
– Master’s Degree in curriculum and instruction preferred
