Full-Time Office Assistant

Job Description

Location: Whiteley (office & Home based) and some travel to other locations in the region when required.
This is a full time role (37 hours a week) however part time hours can also be considered.

The Office/Team Assistant will work closely with the Regional office team to support the daily operations of the contract applicable, providing a comprehensive office administration service.Responsibilities

  • To greet, welcome and direct customers and visitors in a professional manner
  • To co-ordinate the digital/social media marketing agenda for the team
  • To answer telephone calls and transfer callers appropriately, taking messages where necessary
  • To provide administrative and clerical support to the Region office team
  • To coordinate requests for stationary and keep these supplies updated

Essential Requirements: 

Knowledge:
  • Minimum NVQ level 2 English language and maths
  • To have an understanding of IT and social media
  • Experience or confidence to make frequent phone contact with a wide audience of customers (Desirable)
  • Experience using Microsoft Office
Experience
  • Previous experience of office environment Skills (Desirable)
