Part-Time Customer Service Representative (Part Time)
Job Description
The Customer Service Representative assists patients with picking up their medications in a retail environment as well as check out the medications through the Point of Sale (POS) system. This position requires detail orientation and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward patients at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by acknowledging, assisting and thanking patients
- Communicate and coordinate with the team technicians and pharmacists
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support
- Operate the cash register using the POS system
- Balance drawer accurately each day
- Ensure that daily deposits are properly and timely carried out for all POS registers
- Accept prescription orders and evaluating information for completeness and accuracy
- Communicate effectively with the team including technicians and pharmacists
- Work with the drive-thru team both inside and outside
- Coordinate and track daily local deliveries
- Multitask in a fast- paced environment with several computer programs and patients
- Quickly learn several pharmacy programs
- Part-Time work schedule: Monday-Friday, 3-4 days a week from 3:00pm-8:00pm and alternating Saturdays 9:00am-2:00pm
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working with customer support
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Knowledge of Word processing software; spreadsheet software; inventory software; internet software; order processing systems
- Cashiering experience using POS software
- Ability to create personal interaction with patients’ and team members to develop lasting relationships
- Be pro-active in identifying and analyzing problems and providing solutions
- Must have availability to work Monday-Friday, 3-4 days a week from 3:00pm-8:00pm and alternating Saturdays 9:00am-2:00pm
