DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented PLM Program Leader to join our team specializing in Project Management for our Distribution Business Unit headquartered in Indianapolis, IN. This role has the opportunity to be remote.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Provides overall leadership, management, and strategic direction of the program management activities within the Distribution Business Unit (DBU).
* Drives the establishment of objectives, plans, standards, risk identification, and policies ensuring successful implementation of all phases of program management.
* Partners with business executives to identify short and long-term projects plans; develops and maintains strong relationships across the organization.
* Drives the establishment of objectives, plans, standards, risk identification, and policies ensuring successful implementation of all phases of program management; determines project timelines; oversees analysis, program design, budget, communication, and integration; approves business workflow and program design.
* Keeps business leadership apprised of program status and developments; monitors project success measures and understands the status of specific projects and assignments.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* Change Management – applies the Cummins structured process and tool set for engaging individuals and organizations through change to achieve and sustain business results and outcomes.
* Project Management – establishes and maintains the “Balanced Triangle” of Scope, Schedule and Resources for a temporary effort (a “project”).
* Manages complexity – making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
* Balances stakeholders – anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
Other Capabilities:
* PLM System architecture understanding and experience with Windchill
* Information and quality system interface requirements, data model type knowledge.
* Development process expertise (Product, BTPM, Agile, etc) and change champion experience.
* Business and product change management experience.
* XBU product knowledge
Education, Licenses, Certifications
* College, university, or equivalent degree required
* PMP preferred
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
