Job Description
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Test Technician to join our team specializing in hydrogen fuel cell power systems technology for our #NewPower Business Unit in Mississauga, Ontario.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Supports product development of fuel cell systems used in railway applications
* Installs, configures, calibrates, commissions and repairs fuel cell systems.
* Analyzes field data and provides customer support.
* Develops proper instrumentation setup and troubleshoots issues as they occur.
* Creates and maintains electronic documentation.
* Uses several general tools including but not limited to digital multimeter, soldering iron, function generator, and frequency generator.
* Reads and interprets electrical wiring diagrams.
* Interfaces with customers, suppliers, engineers, and other functions.
* Participates in the maintenance of quality procedures.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* College/ Technical degree or Bachelor of Science (or equivalent degree) in Electrical Engineering required.
* Minimum three to five years of experience in a Test Technician role in the automotive or railway industry.
* Hands on electrical experience in setting up, operating, and servicing complex electro-mechanical equipment.
* Prior experience working with fuel cells highly preferred.
