POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Client Success Specialist is an hourly contractor role that serves as part of PowerMyLearning’s Professional Learning Team and reports to the Director of Professional Learning. The Client Success Specialist delivers product training services on Family Playlists, which are described here: https://powermylearning.org/learn/what-we-do/family-playlists/. Training includes remote facilitation of group workshops, remote one-on-one coaching, and remote group coaching.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Become an expert on PowerMyLearning’s online platform featuring Family Playlists
- Deliver high-quality Family Playlist product training, including
- Orienting teachers to Family Playlists and helping them get started on the platform
- Supporting teachers in selecting, customizing, and creating Family Playlists aligned to their curricula
- Building teachers’ capacity to take full advantage of Family Playlists in driving student achievement and family engagement
- Communicate feedback to inform product and content development
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Passion for PowerMyLearning’s mission and values
- 2+ years of k-12 teaching experience
- Experience using EdTech tools in the classroom
- Experience leading presentations and/or training sessions
- High degree of comfort in facilitating meetings using Zoom or similar tool
- Proven organizational and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
- Experience delivering EdTech product training to teachers
- Experience delivering coaching to teachers
COMPENSATION AND LOGISTICS
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. We compensate you for all training (both up-front and ongoing) that you receive from us and for each client session that you deliver. Scheduling is dependent on customer need; we expect that demand will be higher during the school year and lower during the summer. You are responsible for informing us about your availability, attending scheduled commitments, and ensuring that you have necessary tools to provide remote product training (including a quality computer, stable Internet access supporting video delivery, and appropriate video background).
