Job Description
We are looking for a talented Process Engineering Specialist to join our team specializing in hydrogen fuel cell power systems technology for our #NewPower Business Unit in Mississauga, Ontario.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Responsible for process and procedure development for roll-to-roll production of thin films.
* Understand key parameters influencing product quality and minimizing batch-to-batch product variability.
* Implement continuous process improvement strategies.
* Responsible for maintaining data logs for equipment parameters and quality inspection equipment.
* Liaison with production, quality, and R&D teams through improvement of tolerances and yields and reducing/eliminating product failures and defects.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry or any related discipline.
* Minimum three years of experience in a similar role.
* Experience of relevant chemical processing and material handling experience.
* Hands-on experience working with roll-to-roll equipment and/or manufacture of coatings/thin films.
* Experience with physical characterization of materials
