Job Description
We are looking for a talented Regional Security Advisor to join our team in Central Indiana.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Manages initiatives within a specific functional area or program of the Cummins Global Security team.
* Coordinate security for special events, working closely with other Global Integrated Services functions and Health, Safety, and Environmental personnel.
* Provide support and guidance to the Campus Security Operations Center during emergency situations.
* Become subject matter expert in supply chain security strategies and train other security personnel on the topic.
* Provide security guidance and support for all New Power (Electrification and Hydrogen) entities; specifically regarding site security and lithium battery transportation.
* Manages relevant security programs at a regional or country level, across all Cummins business units and functions.
* Implements the regional security strategy; leads cross-functional and cross-business unit projects; communicates plans, strategy, and execution at all levels; identifies and prioritizes focus and programs.
* Manages the development and implementation of security programs; develops and implements related corporate policies and procedures; provides technical expertise to business units in developing and implementing security plans; develops integrated security solutions.
* Manages activities and budgets to annual operating plan.
* Develops and leads teams to assess needs, implement, and integrate security programs; leads education and cultural awareness training for the specific functional area council and working group; monitors internal and external controls; executes pilot programs to address critical requirements.
* Leads security for events impacting Cummins entities, employees, and corporate activities; serves as subject matter expert to the business units and Cummins corporate entities; coordinates with business unit personnel responsible for security to implement new corporate policies and initiatives.
* Liaises with local, state, and federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies; manages and coordinates with vendors, partner, and consultants to develop and manage security intelligence and programs; manages vendor contracts; identifies potential security partners based on knowledge of the market.
* Maintains a strong understanding of best practice security systems and tools; identifies, analyzes and reacts to global security trends and issues in security technology.
* Develops methods for testing and reviewing security systems; develops audit and review schedules; incorporates audit and review processes into corporate policy.
* Monitors key performance indicators and cross-functional reporting metrics for benchmarking and measurement; presents results and recommendations to leadership.
* Communicates with key stakeholders and functional leaders for the program.
* Recruits, selects, develops, manages, motivates, coaches, and mentors managers and staff; provides guidance and direction on problems and issues; delegates works assignments considering employee skills and development needs.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree required.
Experience
Significant relevant experience required, including supervisory experience.
Preferred location is Central Indiana, but other locations within the US may be considered.
