Assistant Director of Financial Aid Advising

Ball State University’s Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships is accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Financial Aid Advising. This position provide financial aid advising for students, parents and others seeking financial aid assistance; use professional judgment to determine financial aid eligibility, perform need analysis and determine appropriate aid packages.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree. At least one year of relevant experience based upon job qualifications and the provided rankings of the required responsibilities. Ability to develop and maintain cooperative relationships with all publics; excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to perform mathematical calculations; skilled in using a personal computer.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in student affairs administration or related area. Experience in a financial aid office with knowledge of financial aid programs and processes or two years of professional work experience. Fluency in both English and Spanish.
