JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION
Serves as a team contributor on the Optimal Blue Client Services team responsible for supporting client’s system relative to the organization’s business. Acts independently or as a member of a team responsible for providing technical guidance specific to the Optimal Blue Product and Pricing Engine.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPO NSIBILITIES
* Maintain customer relationships; proactively provide customers with helpful information regarding the system and make suggestions on how to use the system to its full capability
* Complete defined Client Advisor/Product training to obtain complete understanding of the system
* Converse with customers by phone/email/live chat addressing any questions, problems, and ongoing training
* Stay informed on new release changes and new products
* Demonstrate excellent customer service evidenced by customer feedback and performance reviews
* Analyzes system impacts to other systems and processes. Provides recommendations on best practices and changes in technology accordingly
* Devises and/or modifies processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiencies and to solve the most complex business process problems
* May play a key role in the training of client personnel on enhancements, new systems or procedures.
* Performs other related duties as required.

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES
A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
* Outstanding interpersonal skills with a “Get it Done” attitude
* Premier customer service skills
* Experience in the residential mortgage industry
* Secondary marketing experience is a plus
* Familiarity and experience with mortgage technology including PPEs, LOS, etc.
* Familiarity and understanding of the loan process from origination to sale
* Familiarity with investor rate sheets and product guidelines

* Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)
* Willingly shares relevant knowledge and expertise to other resources
* Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
* Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
* Organizational and time management skills, including the ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed
* Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas

Technology Business Consultant I
Entry-level role. Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency. Generally performs tasks that tend to be of small to moderate size and scope. Works under close to moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment. Consults with senior peers on non-complex projects to learn through experience. Typically requires one to three years of experience in residential mortgage origination from beginning to post closing.
