JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION
Manages investor accounts to ensure interaction with Black Knight’s Product and Pricing Engine, communicate functionality changes and communicate general secondary functions. Observes current state processes and system utilization and makes recommendations, both verbal and written, to clients with regard to the implementation of data, best practice operational improvements, training needs, reengineered processes, system optimization and other related opportunities. Serves as a liaison between the customer, users, and consultants.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Proactively engage investors by phone and/or email addressing any questions, problems, and to get ahead of guideline changes, new programs, etc.
* Responsible for ongoing training to build and maintain excellent investor relationships
* Demonstrate excellent customer service evidenced by investor feedback
* Ensure company best practices are communicated and followed
* Continually articulate company’s value to investor
* Acts as a liaison between investor and secondary servicers
* Conduct training and presentation sessions for the investor
* Performs other duties as required.

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
* Correspondent or Wholesale experience
* Secondary Marketing experience
* STRONG communication skills
* General knowledge of a pricing engine and how it works
* Experience pricing loans is preferred

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
* Proven knowledge to represent the enterprise’s entire range of products to the investor and the industry
* Experience in the mortgage lending industry (Underwriter, Processor or Secondary marketing roles are ideal)
* Familiarity and experience with mortgage technology including PPEs, LOS, etc. is a plus
* Must be able to understand rate sheets and their association with guidelines
* Familiarity and understanding of the loan process from origination to sale
* Must be comfortable speaking with key executives within investor organizations
* Must be comfortable enforcing best practices/deliverables while still maintaining a positive relationship with investor
* Financial institution experience or comparable proven sales-marketing-consulting-support background
* Broad understanding of the financial and strategic aspects of the business, and participates in and/or establishes initiatives that contribute to the overall success of the enterprise
* Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
* Displays strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Exhibits a high degree of initiative and analytical skills to handle and solve complex problems
* Demonstrates the ability to lead by example and motivate professional level staff

Product Consultant I
Entry-level professional role. Moderate skills with moderate level of proficiency. Works under immediate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment. Identifies non-routine issues and routes/escalates to appropriate team member. Supports lower-complexity products and/or services and has an introductory knowledge of some Black Knight products and services offered to the assigned client, customer, etc. Works on a few concurrent projects of low to medium complexity. Is an active team member, contributes to more complex projects under direct supervision to gain additional experience, shares ideas and suggests process improvements appropriate for level of experience. Consults with senior peers on processes to learn through experience. Typically requires one to three (1-3) years of experience in a product support role, with a minimum of two (2) years of industry and Black Knight product experience preferred.
