ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Bookings Director to produce/co-ordinate all main fashion and cover shoots for ELLE, including beauty, FOB model shoots and special projects. You will be responsible for commissioning, casting and producing shoots, as well as managing annual shoot budget.
· Work closely with the Fashion Director to plan the shoot schedule at the beginning of each season, reporting directly to the Editor
· Collaborate with the Fashion Director, Art Director, Fashion Editor and contributing fashion editors to come up with studio/location and story ideas for each shoot, drawing up list of possible photographer and stylist options, model options, hair/makeup etc
· Work closely with photographers’ agents to secure best shoot dates, keep photographers’ fees within agreed budgets and to make sure edit and final images meet ELLE’s deadlines
· Collaborate with the ELLE international team in Paris on their global shoots for the network, and help cast for these shoots where necessary
· Collaborate with the Beauty team to come up with studio/location and story ideas for each shoot, drawing up list of possible photographers, model options, hair/make-up etc
· Work closely with the Editor, Entertainment Director, Fashion Director and Art Director to find best possible photographer for each cover
ABOUT YOU
As the Bookings Director you will have proven experience in magazines/ bookings or an Industry with closely related roles.
· Outstanding organizational skills and good knowledge of photographers and models
· Ability to work well within a team and able to edit and communicate ideas effectively
· Creative, extremely proactive and ability to work effectively and efficiently with an eye for the ELLE brand
