Digital Analyst
In a nutshell, as a Digital Analyst at Black Sheep:
You will help support the digital architecture of our agency—driving analytics, reporting, paid and channel growth. Insights? KPIs? Metrics? You got them. But you’re also helping build the big picture for digital growth and success. We want someone who sees that creativity goes hand-in-hand with the data.
To do that, you must work to master these five areas:
- Honing brand voices. You consider yourself a master of brand voices—meaning that you can pivot, adopt and assess what makes a brand voice unique and can create content that levels up to those characteristics.
- Spotting trends. We want someone who is hungry for what’s next—which means keeping an eye out for the platforms, updates and technology that will deliver a stronger digital experience for our agency and clients.
- Maintaining measurement and analytics. Manage digital reports for Black Sheep and our clients so we can always apply a test, learn and apply mentality in real time.
- Embracing holistic digital strategy. Remember that note about the big picture? We weren’t kidding. We want someone who knows the ins and outs of everything from SEO to TikTok. This role requires someone who knows the landscape of digital from email to web, paid to social and knows where communities are gravitating online.
- Understanding digital at scale. Our clients come with big goals that require big solutions—and we need to create recommendations that can accommodate their existing tools and framework, as well as provide recommendations about where we can grow and evolve.

As a Digital Analyst, you are someone who sees numbers like the way a pianist looks at sheet music. You see the orchestration laying out before you. And you want to bring that comprehensive set of benchmarks into sharper focus so we can make smarter decisions for our agency and our clients. With excellent communications skills and an ability to quickly communicate the right message (paired with the right creative), our team is able to maximize impact for the agency and our client in changing and dynamic digital landscape.
What does that mean for your day to day?
- Researching and investigating new digital tools to evolve the agency portfolio of digital services and positioning.
- Developing and executing comprehensive social media and digital strategies and presenting those strategies to clients and stakeholders.
- Guiding the digital implementation of brand voices and personalities that are tailored specifically to each client and each channel.
- Providing strategic counsel to clients to consistently introduce new ideas and approaches. Then, implementing and educating internal staff and existing/prospective clients on these new digital tools and technologies.
- Overseeing day-to-day production on client social media and digital accounts and coaching clients where necessary to preserve creative integrity and improve outcomes.
- Developing/implementing digital advertising strategies.
- Working hand-in-hand with other team members to ensure exceptional quality on all digital strategy and communication distributed by the agency.
- Monitoring and analyzing digital (social, web, email) metrics in a qualitative and quantitative fashion and constantly amending strategies based on discoveries and patterns.
- Communicating and collaborating on how digital activities impact other business operations.
