Job Description
We are looking for a talented HSE Engineer to join our team specializing in Health and Safety for our Components business segment in Mineral Point, WI.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Assists with the application and use of engineering controls to control hazards and reduce risks in the facility or site.
* Helps to anticipate, identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices.
* Develops basic hazard control designs, methods, procedures and programs.
* Administers and communicates hazard control programs.
* Interprets and applies internal and external standards in support of hazard reduction and compliance.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* Experience in reviewing HSE incidents to draw trends and analysis, and lead respective functions to implement controls to address gaps on regular basis
* Ability to lead HSE discussions in cross-functional project team meetings to drive management of change HSE assessments and implement solutions
* Leading regular HSE inspection and monitoring of the manufacturing floor to embed safe work practices to influence and drive change in behavior
* Facilitating competence and awareness training sessions to drive implementation of HSE programs
* Experience in leading incident investigation and root cause analysis and use corrective action request /preventive action request (CAR/PAR) processes to drive closure.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
