Long Term Contract for an IT – Product Owner (No corp. to corp. or 3rd party)
Description:
Current team is currently remote until at least April, potentially longer. This position can sit initially remote, but if/when offices re-open this person would need to come onsite in Dover.

This is a contract role for a current FTE that is going out on leave. This is a senior level PO, must be able to come in and hit the ground running. This PO should have a high understand of technology and needs to be able to speak to the below technologies. Ability to review code would be a positive. But need to understand below technologies and have specific projects within these cloud technologies
Current team is following Agile, X ‘extreme’ planning, continuous planning and candidate must have the ability to create and maintain outcome orientated roadmaps
Job Summary Responsible for product-specific business objectives and customer satisfaction with the product. Responsible for articulating and translating the overall business vision into strategy and tactics for specific journeys and/or product(s). Responsible for overseeing a set of products and ensuring product teams are appropriately resourced, focused on the key priorities, alignment between roadmaps to achieve portfolio/channel objectives. Manages a team of Product Owners and leads Agile teams and stakeholders to align priorities, remove roadblocks and secure resources. Accountable for outcomes and key KPI`s tied directly to business objectives.
1. Sets ambitious and clear channel strategy, develops comprehensive product vision and translates into specific feature strategies and roadmaps.
2. Responsible for business results of the related set of customer journeys or products as measured by relevant KPI`s.
3. Responsible for communicating the product vision effectively to key stakeholders and team members. Works closely with IT and other Business Unit counterparts to ensure resource alignment in support of product vision and roadmaps
4. Ensures customer-driven design considering user pain points & usability test results, while using market & industry knowledge to deliver a well-positioned product
5. Owns alignment of development and business resources on goals and priorities while working with stakeholders and team to remove roadblocks to execution.
6. Directly manages a team of Product Owner/ Associate product Owners who are responsible for all aspects of customer journey/product lifecycles.
7. Participates to provide feedback, support, coaching, in sprint-and release plans together with Scrum Master.
8. Manages delivery of scope, partners with delivery teams to ensure user stories are clear and resolves open issues/questions quickly and efficiently. Acts as the `voice of the customer.`
9. Leads the analysis of feasibility, cost ramifications, economies, or other aspects of planned or potential programs.
10. Approves final stories and approves completed user features or series of features.
Specific requests for the role- , this position is highly immersed in AWS Cloud technology; API’s, Glue, Lambda, building data pipelines, aurora db, etc’
