We are looking for a talented Research Scientist to join our team specializing in fuel cell power systems technology for our New Power Business Unit in Mississauga, Ontario.

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

* Participates in the design, improvement, outsourcing, selection, evaluation and testing of PEM fuel cell and PEM Electroyzer stack and their subcomponents.

* Plans and monitors performance test and durability test of PEM fuel cell and PEM Electrolyzer stack.

* Processes and reviews test data, generate test reports, and presents test result internally and externally.

* Collaborates with suppliers of stack subcomponents, including MEA, GDM, BPP, gasket, and hardware.

* Provides technical support to sub-system and system testing

* Conducts literature and patent research for the latest technology development and breakthrough.

* Perform routine diagnostics and maintenance on the test components and equipment.

 

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (electrochemical preferred). Graduate degree highly preferred.

* Minimum three to five years in a related field.

* Experience with PEM fuel cell or PEM Electrolyzer.

* Previous work experience as an electrochemical engineer.
