Essential Functions and Objectives:
DPS Policies FN and FN-R establish the need for co-locating schools within a common facility, thereby creating Shared Campuses. The Shared Campus Project Manager is charged with ensuring that operation of the campus is consistent with the guiding principal and governing documents.
Lead / Project Manage operational support for DPS shared campuses. Responsibilities include facilitating monthly campus meetings, leading implementation of established and discovered best practices that enhance the shared campus experience, by partnering with school leaders, central academic leadership, Construction Services staff and all operations departments.
Program development — strategize and define program architecture, goals and objectives using expertise, application of knowledge, industry best practices and compliance standards with innovatio.
Project management — lead new implementations, including: set budgets, set deliverables, track progress, ensure milestone attainment, analyze/monitor risks, mitigate road blocks, and fully assess outcomes and lessons learned.
Program maintenance — deliver results beyond program establishment, actively manage entire program including: ongoing evaluation, regular accountability for program effectiveness, establish goals, and act as the liaison to all key stakeholders.
Team management — effectively lead change and initiatives by working closing with and influencing the project team members; provide mentorship and catalyze strong collaboration among all resources involved.

– Assume primary responsibility for project leadership and communication of all activities related to the shared campus.  This would include development and monitoring of monthly meeting agendas, shared campus plans, completion of communication tools, project milestone and status reports, resource plans, budgets, etc.
– This role must develop comprehensive communications strategies to ensure all appropriate team members and stakeholders across the districts are abreast of campus issues and status. Provide regular feedback and exchange of information with other project leader(s), department heads, management members, and senior leadership.
– Proactively identify, track and resolve issues, risks and dependencies associated with shared campuses, and communicate risks and issues to project team and senior leadership.  Identify and implement issue resolutions.  Lead identification and resolution plans.
– Must possess knowledge and expertise in the use of facilitative leadership methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
– Effectively manage space, personnel and monetary resources in support of shared campuses.
– Middle level management. Works under general direction of Director, Operations Support Services under the Chief Operating Officer. Responsible for the management of 5 or more medium to large-sized, moderately to highly complex shared campuses.

Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:
Required:
– Minimum of 3 years managing multi-faceted projects in planning, facilitative leadership, change management and
expectation management with complex projects.
– Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
– Demonstrated experience managing and completing multiple projects (full life-cycle project planning and
implementation.
– Outstanding facilitation and communication skills, including ability to inspire others.
– Demonstrated experience performing as an effective leader and team player, and recognizing and resolving conflicts or
potentially controversial situations through diplomacy.
– Ability to communicate diplomatically, persuasively, effective oral, written and presentation skills.

– Ability to multi-task and juggle management of several high-priority projects in parallel.
– Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to lead a high-performing team.
– Outstanding facilitation and communication skills, including ability to inspire others.

– Ability to influence large, cross-functional teams without direct reporting responsibility.
– Ability to work with different levels of management throughout an organization, and translate customer needs into technology and process solutions.
– A team player that has the ability to motivate the campus team and drive culture and shared campus experience to success.

Education Requirements:
– Required: Bachelors’ Degree.
