JOB DESCRIPTION

The Digital Producer will consistently deliver exceptional service to our clients through excellent project management. This position is an integral part of our Event Operations team and will be responsible for managing, supporting and/or executing various events, from initial concept through execution and final reconciliation.

JOB LOCATION:      NYC and/or Remote – East Coast working hours

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Responsible for leading and/or supporting the planning and execution of multiple virtual events globally
  • Have delivered virtual events previously including webinars, webcasts and virtual conferences
  • Manage, prioritize and oversee events from creative concept and development to reconciliation, including but not limited to: budget management, site/studio selection, registration management, staffing (where applicable)
  • Capable in content design, production and being able to provide technical solutions for clients
  • Management of remote presenter onboarding and technical briefings from remote or studio locations, including production of all required documentation and guidance
  • ‘Stage management’ of presenters joining from remote locations via virtual event platforms for pre-records, rehearsals and live show
  • Coordination of show content and management of scripting, graphics, video and audio
  • Experience working with ShowCallers and ability to call a show preferable; ability to create show flows and ensure assets are sourced, filed and distributed correctly
  • Responsible for the build and ongoing management of show schedules, including content rehearsals, tech rehearsals and live show days
  • Confident working across brands and departments to achieve projects goals
  • Responsible for fiscal success of individual programs, including accurate and timely budgeting and reconciliation of events
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Negotiate and review supplier contracts and addendums for accuracy
  • M aximize and monitor opportunities for increasing value adds, savings, and cost efficiencies
  • Work with and provide guidance to the team to ensure adherence to client and agency standards
  • Manage and ensure SLA’s (Service Level Agreements), are monitored and achieved throughout the event planning process
  • Field questions and offer advice to team members to assist with creative problem solving
  • Be knowledgeable and update the team on best practices, new suppliers and services
  • Provide support for other team members as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience working on virtual/digital events production is required
  • 5+ years event management experience, preferably in an agency and/or broadcast/media environment
  • Prior experience working on digital/virtual events is required
  • Extensive experience building online events and working with different virtual events platforms (such as Intrado, SpotMe, Chime, GlobalMeet, Zoom, etc)
  • Experience in video production and show management; understanding of what’s needed to make great digital video and content come to life over the different tech platform and channels
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Advanced project management skills including budget creation, management and reconciliation
  • Advanced knowledge of digital and technical aspects of productions including but not limited to general sessions, awards shows, activations and/or experiential events
  • Exceptional ability to establish relationships and maintain a positive rapport with clients, vendors and suppliers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced negotiating, risk management and contracting skills
  • Good/advanced working knowledge of the MS Office Suite, DropBox, Slack, Google Suite
  • Creative problem solver, resourceful, team player
  • Calm and flexible approach to handling the pressure and stress of ever changing demands
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
  • Willing to travel when required, following government regulations
  • Ability to work remotely to support multiple time zones
