Who You Are
The Associate Director, E-Learning & Design creates high-quality program content for online and in person consumption, working with the Program Design Team to create, revise, and publish all program content. This role reports to the Director eLearning and Design.
What You’ll Do
Specific responsibilities include the following:
Create high-quality program content for online and instructor-led consumption using rapid authoring tools:
- Work with instructional designers to build and develop courses in Storyline, creating innovative interactive experiences.
- Produce/create videos as needed.
- Create new layouts and graphics.
- Support other needs as they arise, producing materials that are engaging, clear, and accurate.
Work with the Program Design Team to follow consistent systems and processes for creation, revision, and publishing of all program content and provide suggestions for improvement:
- Document content production process.
- Review and modify processes to allow for further course development and constant improvement on efficiency.
- Build and manage quality assurance processes to ensure produced courses are successful.
Ensure that all final products have a high-quality look and feel and are completed on time:
- Double check all work for technical accuracy.
- Ensure that all graphical elements (headers, colors, fonts, etc.) are consistent and on brand.
- Follow existing style guidelines with accuracy and attention to detail; and identify areas where graphical decisions need to be made.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience required.
- School-based knowledge and experience a plus.
- Demonstrated experience using web-based instructional techniques and tools including Storyline and/or Captivate.
- Proven experience in scripting online tutorials for adult learners.
- Experience working with graphic design and design theory using Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and graphic design theories.
- Keeps up to date with and willing to learn new software and technology.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong strategic thinking, planning, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with people from a wide diversity of demographic and cultural characteristics; must be capable of achieving results while maintaining an inclusive, collaborative leadership style.
- Demonstrated excellence in relationship management, interpersonal abilities, and oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, superior organizational skills, self-direction, and motivation.
- Computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and internet tools.
