We have an exciting opportunity in Rocky Mount, NC for a Manufacturing Shop Operations Manager.  In this exciting position you will be responsible for managing, developing and lead the daily activities of production teams in a environment manufacturing, including managing team members, housekeeping, and meeting production and quality targets.

 

Please Note: this is a third shift position that starts nightly @ 8:00 PM.

 

Your responsibilities may include:

* Overall management, development and support of up to ~80 production team members.

* Work cross functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.

* Provide guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing tasks and goals, set expectations and clarify responsibilities.

* Coach, develop and mentor team members.

* Identify training needs, develop and implement training plans.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

* Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain or a related field.

 

Experience:

* 5 or more years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.

* 10 + years of manufacturing experience, preference for technical experience.

* Proven experience leading a large team (50+) in a manufacturing environment.

* Strong analytical / data skills.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

Base Salary commensurate with experience.
