Full-Time Bi-Lingual Customer Service Representative
Job Description
Safer Logistics, based in Chattanooga, TN, is actively recruiting for a Bi-Lingual Customer Service Representative to support our customer in Mexico. For consideration, you must be fluent in Spanish.
The position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: solicit freight and explore every aspect of a customer’s scope of business assigned from current and potential customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, brokers, shippers and receivers and ensure satisfaction with service provided while acting as an internal advocate in regards to service and freight acceptance. Update various EDI databases with freight information and relay load status to points of contact.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Fluent in Spanish required. High School diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of one year of experience in track and trace, freight scheduling, customer service or sales experience in the transportation industry required. Any combination of relevant education, training or experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job will be considered. Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment; ability to multitask; ability to use a personal computer and knowledge of Microsoft office software.
