You’ll be focused on two main objectives:
Business development: Identifying opportunities to grow existing business, actively participating in new business pitches, and overseeing the development of business/marketing strategies for clients.
Team development: Guiding and motivating the account team to increase account profitability and build long-term relationships, and supporting their individual growth and development.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that the account team builds and sustains value-driven client partnerships.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships with all levels of client management as appropriate.
Assess and audit accounts based on their potential for growth; identify appropriate areas of focus.
Research and analyze each client’s business needs and build strategic plans to deliver on their objectives and KPIs.
Develop and implement strategies to offer clients new solutions and grow accounts.
Promote, share, and document forward-thinking ways of working to support strategic account growth.
Lead and support the development of strategic communications and marketing plans and proposals.
Strengthen overall agency operations, finding ways to ensure optimal client satisfaction, business development, and income potential.
When required, support new business efforts and participate in responding to RFPs.
Effectively lead, mentor, and support all account team members.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the account team and provide leadership, direction, training, and mentoring.
Lead the account team to develop a deep knowledge of each client’s business to identify key insights and opportunities that can drive account growth.
Oversee the account team in developing creative briefs that lead to breakthrough creative; ensure that all creative projects fulfill the brief/project direction.
Requirements:
Minimum of three to five years of proven success directly managing account teams.
Minimum of eight to 10 years of marketing experience.
Experience creating and implementing digital marketing programs; a broad and strategic understanding of digital marketing.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines and deliverables on an ongoing basis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Driven, proactive, enthusiastic team player who thrives in a collaborative culture.
Location
Currently, this is a remote/work-from-home position. When conditions allow, this position will be based at our offices in Hillsborough, NJ. No relocation is available. Occasional travel throughout the NJ/NY/PA area (and sometimes beyond) may be required in the future.
