Full-Time Senior Accountant
Job Description

We are seeking a hard-working and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. This role will report to our Controller and will manage the Finance and Accounting department providing information, primarily financial in nature, about all company activities that will assist management and other users in making educated economic decisions about the company’s future.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage all extensive accounting tasks including but not limited to accounts receivables and payables, bank reconciliations, inventory, payroll, and various financial statements
- Perform and review month-end journals and associated reconciliations by working with different areas of the business to ensure all transactions are accounted for in the correct period
- Prepare materials for internal reporting on a monthly basis
- Prepare detailed account analysis and reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and various management reports and other analyses
- Oversee the payroll process, assuring that biweekly payroll is processed timely
- Perform financial analysis and ad hoc analysis Assist the Controller and CFO on an as needed basis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA
- 3-5 years of Accounting experience, preferably in the Media or Entertainment industry
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Previous “Big 4” accounting experience is a plus
- Experience with Oracle Netsuite is preferred
- Must operate effectively under tight time constraints and be highly self-motivated
- Must possess superior leadership qualities and be highly collaborative
- Highly detail-oriented
