This highly visible, cross-functional role will play a critical part in uncovering insights to drive decision-making across our installed base, including customer retention, renewals, and expansion.
This individual will be a player-coach—someone who can guide and develop a team of two analysts (Senior Analyst and Junior Analyst) while also independently driving high-impact analysis and insight generation. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on environment, balancing strategic thinking with technical execution and narrative building.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing analytics team.
- Lead by example as a hands-on analyst, regularly conducting your own data exploration, modeling, and insight generation.
- Drive data storytelling that clearly communicates key insights and inspires action; experience presenting to C-level executives and/or investors is a strong plus.
- Lead analysis of installed base performance including customer retention, renewal, churn, and expansion trends.
- Translate insights into strategic recommendations and operational improvements across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product.
- Build scalable reporting frameworks and dashboards using BI tools; ensure high data integrity and business usability.
- Manage multiple concurrent analytics projects across cross-functional teams with strong organization and prioritization.
- Collaborate effectively across department leadership to understand insight and reporting requirements
- Partner with technical stakeholders to build scalable reporting and impactful visualizations
- Leverage AI tools and technologies to accelerate analysis, automate workflows, and uncover new opportunities.
- Serve as a thought partner to the VP of Revenue Operations and other leaders during strategic planning.
What You Bring
- 7–8 years of experience in analytics, strategy, or business operations roles; B2B SaaS or recurring revenue experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring analysts; ability to elevate team output through coaching and feedback.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (both strongly preferred).
- Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint for executive-level insight delivery.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Amazon Quicksight.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, methodologies, and commercial success metrics.
- Demonstrated success in synthesizing complex data into simple, compelling narratives.
- Natural curiosity and a problem-solving mindset—you thrive on asking the right questions and digging deep into data.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a high-growth environment.
- MBA, MS in Analytics, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience using AI tools for insight generation or process automation is a strong plus.
