Job Description
British Triathlon is the National Governing Body for Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathlon in Great Britain, responsible for raising the profile and delivering medal-winning performances and helping everyone discover, enjoy and achieve in triathlon.
Triathlon England is one of the three Home Nations of British Triathlon, the other two being TriathlonScotland and Welsh Triathlon. The three Home Nation Associations are responsible for all aspects of triathlon in their respective countries, and contribute to the work of British Triathlon.
The Regional Manager (East) will cover the counties Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. This is an exciting role and you will play a major role in contributing to the development of triathlon at grass roots in England through your commitment, enthusiasm and personal drive. You will have a natural talent for developing strong relationships and close collaborations with key individuals, clubs, event organisers and other stakeholders including; local authorities, leisure providers and County Sport Partnerships. You will contribute to the development and growth of the sport through mass participation programmes and interventions to attract new audiences, specifically through the GO TRI programme. The role requires the ability to support, advise and deliver Triathlon England’s national and regional programme of activities and events.
The role will be based at home or based within the region. The role will require evening and weekend working and regular travel.
