Full-Time IT Support Technician
Job Description
The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing professional, customer-centric support for the whole organization here at Newfront. You have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to support all day-to-day IT support activities, and partner with the Sr. IT Support Specialist to help build a high-level IT Support Team.
This is a full-time in-office role that will support all Newfront employees. The expectation is that role will be in the San Mateo office 5 days a week. This person may be required to travel to other bay area offices and must have solid transportation.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support, providing assistance to both on-site and remote Newfront team members.
- Monitoring and triaging IT support requests from Slack and Jira Service Desk.
- Documenting detailed tasks and resolutions within our IT Service Desk ticketing system.

Qualifications:
- 1-2 years IT experience or completion of IT related courses.
- Proficiency in supporting AV, tablets, MacOS and Windows laptops.
- Experience supporting users in a fast-paced environment.

- A team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Self-starter, with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and intermediate complexities of features.

The pay range for this position in California, Washington, Colorado and New York at commencement of employment is expected to be between $59,600 and $74,500/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
