kpCompanies is leading the search for a Human Resources Manager for George Modular Solutions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Strategy & Leadership:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR policies with the company’s strategic goals
- Develop and implement Employee handbook and policies for an entire organization
- Develop and manage performance review program and standardized evaluation forms
- Oversee HR Department activities to ensure efficient daily workflows and train the HR department
- Provide guidance to leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and cultural development.
Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning:
- Conduct research, analyze organizational trends and execute best practices for hiring, developing and retention
- Identify, Interview, offer and onboard new employees
- Create pipelines for hourly positions and build partnerships with vocational development nonprofits.
- Analyze candidate flow, turnover rates, and other HR metrics to inform strategic decisions
- Work with training sources, recruiters and community to develop qualified candidate flow
- Negotiate employment agreements
- Coordinate employee training, safety and development programs
- Develop career development pathways to retain and grow talent within the company.
Employee Engagement & Culture:
- Develop and implement company culture, enthusiasm, and values
- Manage employee communications, relations and satisfaction
- Implement employee engagement programs to build morale, strengthen communication, and enhance retention.
- Act as a trusted advisor for employees and managers, addressing concerns and facilitating conflict resolution.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure company remains in compliance with laws and regulations
- Lead process for employee discipline, performance improvement and termination
- Prepare employee reporting requirements for lenders and grant sources
- Mitigate risk by managing investigations, claims, and audits as needed.
Compensation, Benefits, & HR Operations:
- Evaluate and recommend employees benefits including health and retirement plans
- Manage payroll processing and payroll tax filings, including unemployment claims
- Leverage HR metrics and analytics to measure success and inform decision-making.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development or a related field
- Desired: Master’s degree in a related field
Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive HR experience, with a track record of supporting growth in startup or high-growth environments
- Expertise in building HR infrastructure, including policies, systems, and processes
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and risk management
Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- The ability to analyze market trends, organizational goals, and workforce needs to develop and implement long-term HR strategies that align with the company’s mission
- Proficiency in supporting innovation and facilitating successful organizational change
- The capacity to develop and maintain effective partnerships and connections within and outside the organization, fostering teamwork and ensuring alignment across departments
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
