Full-Time IT Technician
Job Description
Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is looking to hire an IT Technician for our client in the Delaware County, NY area! This is an entry-level IT position for our client’s organization which delivers high-quality technical services to residential and business customers in the market. Products include installing broadband services (cable/internet/telephone) and also home security, including smart home security systems.
Responsibilities
- Supporting and maintaining desktops, LAN, server, and application environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues as they arise, coordinating with external resources as needed.
- Assess and address the IT needs and requests of staff.
- Conduct quality analysis of IT systems, developing proposals that compare options, and include recommendations.
- Install hardware, software, and run software and performance analytics.
- Deploying new and upgrading existing equipment & software using Microsoft technologies and Windows environments.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Information Technology preferred but not required.
- IT experience with exposure to network systems and equipment.
- Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, organize, prioritize, make decisions, and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines as required.
- Ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge to daily tasks.
- Adaptability and being able to work individually and in a team environment.

The estimated yearly salary range for this position is $45k – $55k/hour though a candidate’s salary will be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.
