Corporate Services – Corporate Finance
Status: (1) Regular Full-Time position
Salary Range: $45,184 to $56,478 per annum plus comprehensive benefits
Work Mode: On-site
Location: 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Are you a highly motivated details oriented administrative professional who is passionate about Finance?
Reporting to the Supervisor of Corporate Reporting and Receivables, in this position you will work collaboratively to ensure a coordinated and cohesive approach to administrative matters.
What you will do in this role:
Audit function matching all payments with invoices and backup to ensure accurate payment
Matching process for 3 cheque runs a week
Responsible for mailing out payments, special instructions (Doctors, rents, Police, Day Care) and cheque pickup
Pick up mail and record receipt of all cheques for deposit
Follow up with Departments for non-AR cheques rec’d and get coding
Key in journal entries
Order office supplies
What the role requires:
High school diploma plus 1-3 years of work related experience in a finance or accounting office setting
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered
Skills/Abilities:
Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills
Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Detail oriented combined with an ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in order to meet deadlines
Effective team player
Knowledge of the PeopleSoft Software would be an asset
