Job Description
Clark College is currently accepting applications for a full-time, 12-month, exempt Business Analyst position in the IT Services department. This position bridges IT and business, using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations to the Vice President (VP) of IT and stakeholders. This role involves understanding business needs, analyzing systems and processes, and collaborating with various departments to enhance efficiency and productivity through technology solutions. This position may be eligible for a hybrid schedule of four days in-person, one day remote. If granted, the hybrid schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the college.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate clear communication between IT and business stakeholders. Understand stakeholder needs and document detailed requirements.
- Identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement and communicate with key stakeholders.
- Evaluate and enhance business processes and systems.
- Collaborate to design and implement technology solutions.
- Drive projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Develop test plans, conduct testing, and validate solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements, specifications, process flows, and user guides.
- Provide end-user training and support for new systems and processes.
- Collaborate with manager and cross functional teams to ensure changes are effective.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field OR Associate degree AND two (2) years of experience in a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager or similar experience in an IT environment, with some supervisory experience.
- Proficient in business analysis tools, data analytics tools, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and project management methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; collaborative; detail-oriented; experienced in managing complex relationships.
- Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.

SALARY/BENEFITS:
Salary Range: $72,687 – $84,163 annually (commensurate with qualifications and experience).
Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases.
