Pay Rate : $43.98/hour
Your future team:
You will become part of the Operational Maintenance team reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, and Maintenance Lead Hand.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for maintaining strong reliability of all mobile equipment on site.
- The position is for 8 hr work days, Monday through Friday. There may be possible OT if required.
- Responsible for the execution of daily maintenance needed on equipment as well as fulfilling the preventative maintenance program.
- Ensure that needed and correct spare parts are readily available to maintain maximum operational up time at minimum costs.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of equipment repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Responsible for ensuring machinery and equipment that are subject to legislative and/or regulatory requirements are in compliance with applicable rules and regulations regarding systematic inspection and testing.
What you bring:
- Red Seal Mechanic Certification
- Heavy duty equipment repair background.
- 5 years or more in as a mechanic in an Industrial position.
- Forklift repair experience
- Safety orientation, and strong value for safety.
- Air brake knowledge, and experience.
- Diesel, propane, electric and hydraulic background are required.
- Strong computer skills (experience with SAP, Excel, and others) will be an asset.
- The ability to work alone and take direction for the Maintenance Supervisor.
