Position Purpose
This position reports to the Arts and Sciences Operations Manager and oversees the daily operations of the Visual Arts support area, provides direct support of the Visual Arts curriculum, including development, preparation, oversight, and coordination of academic Visual Arts activities for studio and field programs, provides expertise for student projects, and is an informational resource for faculty research and projects. This position has responsibility for managing and overseeing general 2D and 3D studios of the Visual Arts curriculum area.
This position supports faculty, staff, and students in an often-changing, multidisciplinary academic environment and must remain flexible in providing support to all users of the general 2D and 3D Visual Arts studios, while fostering a safe, welcoming environment for a diverse body of faculty and students.
This is a part-time .6 FTE (24 hours per week), overtime eligible position on the Olympia campus of The Evergreen State College.
Salary and Benefits: $2,309.40 – $3,100.80 per month of part-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life, and disability insurance package; and a tuition waiver program.
