G2 Software Systems, Inc. (G2) is looking for a self-directed General Manager with at least 10 years of DoD contracting experience with Navy emphasis. This role will have direct management responsibility for all Program Managers.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee contracts and program managers to ensure projects meet requirements and budgets and are staffed appropriately.
• Identify, lead, and develop contract proposals and task order bids for DoD procurements.
• Responsible for business development to include representing the Company at industry functions, specifically NDIA.
• Perform functions as empowered official, lead, or administrator for: DDTC yearly registration (ITAR); SeaPort NxG authorization; OCI reviews; and other specific contract/task requirements.
• Perform a variety of functions within CostPoint.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering; Masters preferred
• Minimum ten (10) years of DoD contracting experience
• Demonstrated experience with business development (both internally and externally)
• Direct experience with contracting and cost accounting
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels both within the organization and with customers/clients
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• US Citizenship and either currently hold or have the ability to obtain Secret Clearance and be TS Eligible

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Location:

This is a full-time onsite position at our headquarters in San Diego, CA. Travel<10%

Compensation:

The pay range for this position in California is $270,000/year to $320,000/year; however, total compensation offered may vary depending job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. G2 Software Systems also offers a full range of medical, financial (401k and Employee Stock Ownership Program), and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
